Pure genius from pure intentions By The Audience I've grew my career FAR beyond where I could have naturally gone, because I asked another guy out for lunch. He's the #1 national expert in my in industry and told me three things in that "business date" that allowed me to do what took him 20 years, in under 5!Because of the value of that meeting, I became really good at figuring out how I can help people and connect with them in a meaningful way- in business.I was worried this book would be basic, or worse, sleazy (how to use people to get ahead). But it was neither.It was pure genius from a pure heart. It has a few very advanced ideas that I've never been able to discern or articulate. And I just connected with the author on Facebook because she seems very approachable and well, business datable. :)

By Andrea Waltz I'm a fan of all of Honoree's books because of her down to earth writing style (plus she's got a razor sharp wit) so it's always fun to read her take on business and her practical ideas and systems. We know dating can be awkward and it's no surprise that building relationships in business i.e. "business dating" would be even more so! Using the 12 x 12 matrix and her coaching skills Honoree will take you through the process easily and then... it's your turn to apply it!

Since I have been enjoying it so much, I felt compelled to write a review for it. I live in Southwest Austin and I get my car washed at Coachworks about once a week. I love to look at all of their products while waiting, but this day was an exceptionally busy day for them and it was taking them a while to wash my car. Since it was too hot to sit outside and I didn't want to watch Dr. Phil playing on their TV, I looked to my left and the book caught my eye. I started to read it and then found myself hoping that they would continue to take a while so I could keep reading. I bought the book and am almost finished reading it. Even though it is a short book, there is so much valuable information in it.I moved from California to Texas less than a year ago. I have been a freelance court reporter for almost 7 years. I had a decent sized network in California, but it has been my focus to rebuild/expand my network here in Texas, and I am excited to apply the 12x12 Matrix System to organize and manage my network. This book has made me think of networking in a whole different way.I guess you never know when and where you are going to be inspired!
