Here are just a few examples: In our everday life's...Sing in (it took me a moment to realize the author intended me to sign in to a website. I would have felt quite foolish singing at my computer to no avail)- which I could possibly overlook as a typo if it were not repeated over and over again.When writing to an audience it is important to retain credibility. The numerous errors found throughout this book cause the author to lose credibility as a professional seeking to help other professionals.If all it takes to become an author is smashing some words together without giving a care for their sense, or sensibility, I may have entered the wrong profession.

As a freelancer I enjoyed reading this book , it gave a lot of detailed and accurate information needed to start your career as a freelancer. By Mats Hummels This is good for bed time stories and bought this one for my niece and nephews.I read the story for them and they totally enjoyed it and the adventures of Benny and Cody. I love that there are illustrations too that I can show to them and at the end of the story , I always ask them what they have learned and how they can apply it to their daily lives. Great story and compelling!

This book is suited to a quotable line that I saw, "Your comfort zone is good, you will feel safe, but you will not grow there." And I believe we must all do what Benny has done, sometimes we must step out of our comfort zone and explore the world and learn new things and experience what life has to offer aside from what we are used to. We might get hurt, we might experience hardships but the important thing is that we learned. The book is so exciting and indeed full of lessons learned.

I really enjoyed reading this even though it may have been a little short it does make it up in sheer quirkiness and charm. It was interesting that I kept forgetting this book is about Minecraft. Every now and then something specific to Minecraft would show up and I would have to remember that the images in my head need to be more pixel-like! Every chapter gives you an excitement and it keeps on building towards the end.

"Everyone has an Antarctica" is how Morgan describes his urge to find peace within himself, escape suburbia and deal with the remnants of the Vietnam War.Vietnam veteran, Dave Morgan is haunted by his memories of being nearly buried alive during a mortar attack one night when the side of his weapon pit collapsed in on him. His nightmares are as vivid today as that defining day 40 years ago. Morgan was diagnosed just prior to his first trip to Antarctica with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to his war service in Vietnam.After discharging from the Army, Morgan worked for the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) from 1972 until retirement. He was transferred from Darwin to the Brisbane office and interestingly was involved with the Brisbane floods caused by Cyclone Wanda in January 1974.Reading `Ice Journey A story of adventure, escape and salvation' bought back memories of my posting to Watsonia Army Barracks in the late 70's. During this period the drivers of the LARCS that are used to ferry stores from ship to shore lived at the barracks during training for Antarctica missions, there was also a small stores and training base in Port Melbourne. I must admit, it sounded very exotic and enticing when speaking to the Army guys that went there. The LARCS are still in use today albeit by a private contractor.Leading up to his expedition trips to Macquarie Island, Davis and Casey Stations in Antarctica, Morgan knew that he would have to prove that he could handle isolation. He applied to the Bureau of Meteorology to go to the isolated weather station at Giles, some 750 kms South-West of Alice Springs on the edge of the Gibson Desert. Morgan thrived in this isolated environment and was away from the family for six months during 1998.Morgan has tunnel vision when it comes to Antarctica. Morgan sat down one night to discuss Antarctica with his wife and two teenage children; I don't think they had a chance to say no. He was definitely single minded in his focus (PTSD symptom) on achieving his goal of going to Antarctica. With their blessing, Morgan was ready to make that journey he had yearned for. Morgan and his tunnel vision changed dramatically with his last trip to Casey Station. You will have to go on his incredible adventure with him to understand the hold that Antarctica & PTSD had over him and how that last trip changed his and his family lives forever.2001, saw Morgan board the `Aurora Australis' the bright orange ice breaker that takes the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) groups to Antarctica. Morgan would see his trips there and back from the comfort of his bunk with sea sickness. Morgan has beautiful black and white images dispersed throughout the book which has a calming effect. Or is it just me wishing, I would love to be there! He also uses vibrant coloured photos that stand out against the stark white backdrop of Antarctica.Morgan describes what it is really like to be one of a few people to live and work in Antarctica. His love of remoteness, work, and beautiful scenery is echoed in his writing of how Antarctica changed him forever and how for the first time he found peace within. Morgan's family also had to face up to hardship and loneliness back in Australia during his trips away for training or being on an expedition. `Ice Journey A story of adventure, escape and salvation' is well written and his descriptive writing is a feature that I liked. It shows that Morgan is a team player and that people could relate to him on a work and social level whilst isolated in Antarctica.Dave Morgan and his family have started another `new' chapter of life now in Queensland. By Nick Vanmatre I gave this book four stars based on my fascination with stories about people who venture into very cold climates and situations. So, yes, I love all the Mount Everest mountain climbing stories. But this book is really the story about a guy who has PTSD and seeks isolation in order to deal with his psychological problems. The book is very informative about the different Australian sites in the Antarctic and how they function. It is not a hardcore ice survival story. Rather, it is a true story about one man's survival of PTSD and that it occurs primarily in the Antarctic. I did enjoy and learn from the book.

I can just see the icebergs and the ship breaking the ice, feel the lonliness and the beauty of the place. The only thing I would change would be to take out some of the writing about technical things. I don't know anything about metres and machines and I don't read an adventure book to learn about them. I'm sure there are many readers who would enjoy reading those very parts of the book so they would know it was real. I also felt he stretched the part about his sea-sickness in order to make the book longer. He is a little wordy. Otherwise, it's an exciting read. I felt sorry for his family because they got left out of his life in pursuit of his dream. As a woman, I know how it feels to chuck your own dreams to the wind so the man you love can pursue his. Maybe he should have fulfilled his dream before he had a wife and children.

I thought it was going to be the usual "How To" type of book. I was pleasantly surprised. Ryan told of his blogging through his real life travels through paradise. His tips, insights, and wisdoms makes me want to roll up my sleeves and start blogging. But, my question is, "Where so I start?" I love to travel and if I could live out of a suitcase, I wouldn't even blink an eye...I would. I enjoyed how Ryan told the story about being crammed in a bus like sardines in a can and being endured with the foulest of smells - all to get to the freedom he is setting out to get. You do have to go through some uncomfortable situations in order to see the end of the tunnel. I get that now. The moral to Ryan's book in my opinion is, Never Give Up. Thank you so much Ryan for pointing me towards your book. It was an enjoyable read.

While a great aspiration, it may not be the goal for everyone.But it's so much more than that!!For anyone on the fence about this book, get it! This book is for anyone, whether you aspire to blog from paradise or not. Ryan divulges his secrets on how to make your blog stand out, how to be productive (even with crappy Internet), how to find what will drive you to succeed and how to market like a madman, and he does it all in his storytelling style his fans have come to know and love.Seriously, great tips here!

Hawkins I just started and finished Ryan Biddulph's Blogging from Paradise is one sitting. I have zero interest in traveling the world but I love blogging. I found the book both interesting and informative. Many of the lessons in the book could, and should, apply to all bloggers.Ryan did a fantastic job keeping the reader (that's me) interested throughout the entire book with his storytelling skills. I'm looking forward to digging into other Ryan Biddulph books.

It's clear Margaret Hart has done the hard yards and made the mistakes so YOU don't have to make them. I am contemplating buying a house and I feel that I have already bypassed so many common mistakes as a result of reading this amazing book. It is well structured, clear , concise and gives so many lateral ideas and inspirations about home renovation and getting ahead in a dog eat dog market. The price of this book is less than a cappuccino ...The difference is ~ drinking a cappuccino means false enthusiasm and and an inspiration that will surely fade... but...buying this book means your enthusiasm can be made real ... your inspiration can't help but manifest into the life you really want. The answers are here and to buy this book is akin to winning the Wonker golden ticket...Great!

A lot of very useful information By Peter Morse There is a lot of very useful information in here - often these 'Bible' sorts of books are pretty rubbishy and could be edited down to 1/5th the size, but not this one: it's packed solid with useful advice about property purchasing and renovation - the author really knows her stuff. It's clearly written and to the point - and covers all the important legal and financial issues - stuff that can be so confusing and opaque for first home-buyers. Useful tips for dealing with unreliable real-estate agents too. This book will form a part of your strategy - it's not a DIY for actually fixing things up (that would take several more volumes) - it's a very thorough guide to the range of things one will need to do, with a variety of well-considered options and parameters.

Guide with steps for things to check and consider By Tatyana The target group for this book is for people buying and renovating their houses, and it's a good information source. It is very broad and covers most elements in buying a house or the renovation process, however, the book doesn't go into a lot of detail on some of the steps. You can think of it as a condensed guide with steps for things to check and consider.Many important parts of the whole process are covered in the book so you will know what to consider while doing one thing or the other. Some of the things it describes are how to get ready to buy a house, what to look for at the property, what to do and not to do when renovating and finally how to sell it.We've just begun renovating our house, and the book has been already useful and has lots of information about what we need to do. We live in a brick house, and the part about the foundation being permeable to water (rising damp) was an eye opener for us.I would recommend the book to people who are going to buy or sell their house, or make a major renovation and don't know a lot about the topic. The book may be brief at times, but you will get solid pointers on what you need to check out or consider at each stage.

So it is not a completely empty read. This is the most positive statement I can make about it. Otherwise the book is essentially a giant promotional booklet for the author's own marketing firm. Instead of doing his best to teach reader best way to implement suggested marketing strategies, author keeps promoting his own services on every corner.I guess another tip that Richard does not explicitly mention is to write a book and sell it on Amazon with the sole purpose to promote my business. A viable marketing strategy that we should look into.But for now, sorry Richard, I did not intend to purchase a giant ad for my own money!

If you can develop your marketing Strategies according to the changes and apply them to your business policy, your business will grow up very soon. I always try to read the books that explain business strategies and provide various tips and tricks assigning to marketing. And I think, it is really a good book that explains some of the major topics on marketing. The author provided different tip and tricks on How to sell more by doing less.

About the only constant is that there's always something new to learn, so when I saw this book was free, I snatched it up.Roberts brings a special touch to the topic because of his extensive experience in marketing products offline. He also works with a team of pros and together they've created winning formulas for reinforcing brands and stimulating lasting benefits.As a long-time business person, I came away from this book with new insights into web design--particularly responsive design--and new ways to integrate video and social media into your long-term business plans. Very interesting. I can't wait to put them in action.
