With a Master's Degree in Science: Marketing and Management she has managed millions of dollars of top-secret equipment in the Iraq war, worked as a correspondent at the United States Pentagon, and transformed failing financial branches into top producing sales machines in New York City. Her 'pull yourself up by your own bootstrap' methodology enabled her to transform her life as well as the lives of thousands of others through her blogs, articles, videos, and eBooks - this book being the major one to date. Not a promise make for miracles the simply offers us the framework, motivation, and inspiration to succeed. Or as she states in her Introduction, `In this short eBook, I am going to give you some great tips on how to navigate the Internet jungle, to ensure that the odds will ever be in your favor. I am not going to recommend any expensive products or services. I am not going to do that because I know that start- ups, busy professionals, and solopreneurs simply don't have the resources to invest in expensive marketing campaigns. So instead, I am going to show you how you can market your business with just $ 11 a day. This gives you a monthly budget of $ 330. I won't go a cent over. Here is the "How to Guide" By Anibal Madeira The authoress contacted me via mail in order to review her work. I receive daily several such requests (and unfortunately I can’t consider the large majority of them) but in this case I’ve became immediately enthralled by the structure of the mail. Obviously she was using her “Jedi tricks” (aka her vast marketing skills), and even in a short glance I felt compelled to read more and investigate what this Melissa Remigio has to offer. If the product she was offering to review was any other than a Marketing book I would be interested, but in this case the effect was much stronger – because what she was “selling” was her knowledge on how to do good marketing; and with that first contact she already proved to a total stranger that she indeed mastered those skills! That is quite something regarding on making a strong first impression!She is funny, frank and honest. She won’t fool the reader making him believe that he can face giants alone, or that everything will run smoothly and the reader will smash any competition just following her advice. Also, and contrary to most marketing books and articles I’ve read, she doesn’t assume that you have a team working with (or for) you, that you have considerable financial allowance, honed marketing skills or whatever. I've worked as a product manager for years and managed small businesses, and obviously I know in my skin the difficulties of extremely limited budgets.This book will allow a fighting chance for growth and profit for any small business. It focus not only on the product (and what that product must satisfy), how to search your customer, how to get known and trusted by them. It will provide tools to make good content and become known in the market, get peer and field specialists’ approval, recruit a tribe, maximize your visibility on the net and turn clicks into profits. It won’t be easy. It will require work, but Melissa Remigio already done most of the work for you. It is casually written by a real person. The realness shows through which I liked.She does have many great marketing ideas. The focus is mostly on online and smaller/startup business.I enjoyed some of the stories she wove through the book. She often used the analogy of love to marketing.Interesting read (and you can never know too much about marketing)
