How to Overcome Procrastination, is a timely book to show everyone how to increase their levels of productivity. The funny thing is that I procrastinated in writing this review. Yes, I am a major procrastinator that is why I reread Chapter 6 that spoke about “structured procrastination”, which shows you how to organize your to-do list. I found that by using this method in organizing my to-do list, I was more productive. I also found that it was okay to reward yourself when you have completed the task. This is a method of positive reinforcement that moves you forward in completing your task thereby reducing procrastination. This book aims to squash all the current myths about why we procrastinate, and reduces all of our best excuses to dust--showing us that we can be productive in our lives. To learn more about “structured procrastination,” don’t hesitate to get a copy of this book.

And why not, because it is all about procrastination. Well, how to overcome it. Here the author is quick to point out that procrastination is a powerful habit and can be as addicting as any other vice that can bring you down and sabotage your career and affect your family life and activities. The steps and strategies are clear and help you turn the tide on bad habits that drain your productivity and energy. I really liked the section the author presents on all the myths about procrastination, how to break them down and gets to the truths that help you better understand and overcome.

Short and to the point, all you need when you want to get back on track.It exposes the so-called "procrastination myths" and even shows you how to replace procrastination with productivity.Glad I got it!
