1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. TED Power Tips for Speakers By Fred Pitt Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this book has some great stuff in store for you. I’ve read a number of books on public speaking, but this one took a very unique angle. First, it used four great TED talks, which in themselves were very interesting and useful. Second, instead of an abstract discussion of public speaking techniques, it systematically dissected the talk and shared what made it effective. The author also uses hypothetical examples to relate the skills to business presentations, which I appreciated. I might just gift this book to my boss – he needs it.

No silly tips either – very specific in terms of techniques you should use with plenty of examples on how to apply them. I’m just a beginner level speaker but feel like I managed to learn two years of skills in one sitting!
