It is one of the best leadership books I have read in recent years. The reason is that it is not full of theories, constructs or management speak. It is about the pure human aspect of leadership. How to lead people. Who else is there to lead? What Altschuler has done with this book is to make the engagment with human beings central to leadership today. In a highly technological world, when the old rules of hierarchical and authoritarian leadership are collapsing this book is both a breath of fresh air and a clear directional road map for human centric leadership in the 21st century.It is also a fast and fun read, unlike most management and leadership books. I highly recommend you give 2 hours of your time to find ways to be a better leader by reading "Engagement"
