2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. easy to follow and learn By Gavin I've never worked with photoshop but I realize the value it adds, especially since I am an amateur photographer. Photoshop expands on mere photographs in my mind as well, so having a working understanding of it will be great for my business and extracurriculars. I am now more familiar with the terminology and am pleased to know that the book provides images to convey the different features and what a modification can look like. It's incredible how impactful photoshop can be as it is so deliberate. I compare it with Instagram filters, but the capacity with such a platform is very limited next to photoshop and requires very little skill. When I normally post a photo on Instagram, it clearly looks filtered and almost surreal. Learning the tricks of the trade with photoshop is a huge asset with graphic design continually growing. This book is an awesome starting point for beginners.

I download the book to learn more about editing and photoshop, this book really teaches all very explicit, now that I read the book, I have practiced and learned much more than I did know, if you love photography, this book is perfect for you, recommended.

By Danielle A very handy guide for photography that helps in improving the photograph regardless of the type, from portrait to landscape. The easy to use instructions provided in the book makes the complicated world of photography simpler by providing the basic information needed. The book gives explanations on how to assess photographs, using photoshop in portraits, adding color to landscapes, and giving color to photographs. The book reminds its readers that being experimental is the only way to feel comfortable in photoshop. Glad I came across this book.
