This is the real deal By Big D Anyone serious about speaking professionally would be foolish not to invest the price of coffee and a donut for this book. It's insightful, entertaining, and funny. And it's written by a guy that does this for a living. Mr. Dryden has been there, done that, and shares his inside knowledge generously in a very entertaining style (it doesn't hurt that he's a comedy writer!). This book is almost cheating. Thousands of hours of learning, and years of working, have been packed in 'no BS' form into this 120-page book that will save you a ton of money and time, not to mention frustration and failure. It's not hype. It doesn't pretend speaking is easy, but it shows in working steps how you can make it work. Can't believe it's this cheap. Thanks, Mack!

By Dain Dunston I've know and worked with Mack as a comedian for years and I know how good he is on stage. But can he really teach you how to start a career as a speaker? The answer is yes. And since, as it happens, I'm in the process of moving from being the man behind the curtain, writing words for other speakers, to being the guy on the stage keeping the audience engaged, this book couldn't have come at a better time. Two great things you'll get from this book: first, how to create and practice your speech so when you get that first paying job, you rock; second, how, specifically, to get the word out there so people hire you. You'll probably never be as funny as Mack, but you can be yourself on stage and tell your own story. And this is the book to get you started.

How to overcome stage fright, how to present yourself to a prospect, what to say on the phone and most importantly, how to structure your speech or talk for maximum effect. If you're serious about getting into public speaking, buy this book and read it a couple of times. You won't be disappointed...and neither will your audience.
