A++ - Helpful How-To Book on Real Estate Investing and Financing By Diane Sheldon-Ku I was searching for a how-to book about real estate investing, specifically real estate financing. The Atlantis Towers Real Estate Acquisition and Financing Case Study has been an incredible help. Sure, the title is a mouthful, but this tool is a hands on guide. It's like talking with a top Wall Street professional, in plain English. The authors walked me through the term sheet (I have never seen a legal term sheet for a real estate financing transaction), the key concepts and hot buttons. I especially like that it tells what each item means and how to approach these situations when they come up in a real estate transaction.As a professional in sales and marketing, and now with this Case Study, I understand a lot more about real estate investing and finance and how to successfully analyze a deal. I know the questions to ask and how to analyze the terms and conditions. This how-to guide helped me get my arms around this complex subject, feel comfortable reading a legal document, and feel more confident about entering the real estate investing world.This book was so helpful, I'm looking for other works by coauthors Arthur VanDam and Joe Gelb.
