I recommend this powerful, original, interesting, engagingly and clearly written. book to anyone who wants to understand the complex, intertwined forces shaping education globally today. The book provided me with important information and insights into the effects of economics on education. I worried after reading it if all other concerns such as social justice and teaching of knowledge are disappearing from school curricula as a result of economic agendas dominating the school policies.A huge fan of Joel Spring
